Thanksgiving Weekend

Harley and I have so much to be thankful for this year. From our wonderful family to some amazing friends. Not to mention, we survived more then a year of marriage! This holiday season is difficult for Harley, as many of you know why. With that, we spent Thanksgiving day with his family at his Aunt Tracey's house. It was very nice and peaceful, we even played some "Scene It!"

Crazy as it sounds, Friday, Harley and I woke up early to hit those early bird specials! As we were heading down to San Diego we stopped at Kohl's to start the Christmas shopping! We both agree..... It's not something we'll be doing next year!

We met his (our) cousins Tod, Shannan, Mandy, and Kaylee in San Diego for a day at Sea World. That place never gets old, I love seeing the dolphins every time. We had a blast, enjoying the family time, playing and laughing with Kaylee, and enjoying some nice cold Bud Lite together. Harley even won a new Spiderman for Tyler! That's my Honey =0)

Even after the day at Sea World, we still made it to the outlets that night for some more shopping! Can you tell we like to get the good deals ;p Kaylee was such a trooper she didn't complain once. We really enjoyed our time with them.

Needless to say, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Hope you all did as well =)

Halloween Costume Party

Harley and I went to our first Halloween costume party this year!!! We had such a blast with our friends ;p We choose to go along with the 50's theme but with a touch of sexy! Our costumes couldn't compare to some of the others. We had some funny, scary, very sexy, and of course the usual.

The costume party winners were..... #1 Best: Brian as the pimp, #1 scariest: Jay as I don't know it was, just scary, #1 Sexiest: Kim as the hoe, and #1 funniest: the sperm guy. There were many other good ones such as Emma as the German beer girl, Danny the handsome devil, the dead prom king and queen, soooo many!!!

We're looking forward to next year!!! Now that we know how the competition is... it's on!!! We hope all our close friends and family have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Octoberfest 2007

The past few years Harley and I join a few friends for October fest in Big Bear. We always enjoy the stay at the cabin, good German food, German music, and of course the good ol' German beer! Although I must say, I've never heard nor seen the Chicken dance so many times.

This year, not only did they have just German beer but also some very yummy Pumpkin Spice beer and a nice Blonde beer. After we enjoyed ourselves at Oktoberfest we took the party back to the cabin. To much of our surprise, we all had some Jagermister bombs (that's Jager w/ Monster energy drink).

It's always nice to get away to the cabin, especially when you're in the company of close friends. We also enjoyed some poker time and oh yeah, uno attack!!! We can't wait until we do it again next year :0)

Family Reuniun 2007

This year our family reunion was held in Crivtiz, WI. Most if the family was there, still some were missing. We had such a wonderful time doing all that we could. Our 4 days was filled with plenty of activities. We went boating, wake boarding, paddle boating, played polish horseshoes, bachie ball, and ended every night with an amazing firework show!!

All the kids seemed to enjoy themselves as well as the adults. Unfortunately for myself, I was bit by a spider on out first night there. It bit me eight times on the forehead, my face was swollen for 3 days. Each day it was getting bigger! Finally it went down, thanks Lord!

We ended our reunion with a lunch at Auntie Bee's. It was nice to see all the family together, even though some we only see at the time of the reunion. (I guess that's why it's called a reunion!) There we got a group shot and my has our family grown. I could only imagine what it would look like of we all were there!!!

Our family is getting bigger, but it just means theres more love to go around. With marriages and new additions, it won't be getting smaller. My family is my everything and with them behind me, I know I'll be ok. I should be so Lucky to have so much love and laughter in my life :0)

Tyler's Sleepover

We're having a sleepover with Tyler!!!! As Jennifer and Eric had plans to go out, we watched Tyler. Believe me, when Tyler stays with his Auntie and Uncle Harley he gets spoiled! We started the late afternoon off with a walk to "Bunny" park. We call it bunny park because their are tons of bunny's in the bushes and they roam the area. While at the park, we played golf and kicked the ball around. Tyler and I also rolled down the hills, which made us both very itchy.

As the sun starting setting, we headed for home. After his bath, Tyler snuggled up with his Uncle Harley and watched a favorite from his movie collection, Cars! Let me tell you, Tyler is such a bed hog!!!! He sleeps completely side ways and takes the entire bed. Harley was pushed to the couch and I got the very edge of the bed. I must say, we're not used to this type of sleep. Especially the 6:30am of "I'm awake, no more sleeping!" Tyler has the best attitude when waking up, just like his Auntie :0) I plan today on getting Tyler in the big pool. He wasn't to sure about it yesterday, but I think we can change his mind.

Having Tyler for one night really helps us to understand why we're not ready for children. He keeps you on your toes and makes sure he has your attention 24/7. Not to mention, he never stops talking! LOL... We love having our pumpkin and we would do anytime. It's amazing how a child can bring a smile to your face, especially when their as cute as Tyler!!!!!

Happy 4th of July

We celebrated our Independence in style! Harley and I joined the family this year in Whittier. My Dad's neighborhood comes together and Bar-B-Q's, drinks, and has a wonderful firework show! This year it just so happen that one the neighbor's won a back yard Bar-B-Q from the radio station 92.3 hot jams. They came out and provided music, games, and some yummy tacos. It was a wonderful afternoon with family and friends.(That is until the police came due to complaints from the loud music and early fireworks.... It wasn't even 6pm!)

No matter the weather here in Cali, it's always a wonderful day when with the family. Soon we will be off the Wisconsin to visit with more family!

Welcome to our Blog

After months of looking at our cousins blog and watching the progress of his son Alden, we decided to create a blog. We felt it was a great way to keep in touch with distant relatives and close friends. Not to mention, my sister!!

This has been a busy for Harley and I. With Harley's birthday as well as his Fathers and his Aunts, Father's day, Craig's graduation from high school, Tim (Harley's brother) getting his GED, and all the other activities we do. The month of June has just flown right past us. We're looking forward to our trip to Wisconsin at the beginning of July. Especially Harley, he will be seeing his favorite team, the San Francisco Giants, play the Milwaukee Brewer's :0)

We hope this blog brings us close to those so far away from us. I am including some updated (somewhat)pictures. Let's not forget our baby, Snickers. She is our very spoiled cat, right down to her chilled bottled water she gets every morning. As you can see in the picture, she loves the bathroom sink!

We look forward to hearing from all if you and will keep this updated as much as possible.

All our love and blessing
